Galway Pipe Grand Tawny

Galway Pipe Grand Tawny is a tribute to Sir Henry Galway, a controversial governor of South Australia and a connoisseur for the best, Galway would personally select the finest pipe of tawny to be served at government house.  Galway Pipe Grand Tawny is exquisite in nature, aged in oak for an average of 12 years, this tawny is a rich blend of character filled grape varieties.

Aroma: Aromas of raisins, dried pears, grilled nuts and spicy, dusty oaks.
Flavour: The palate has a balanced sweetness complemented by a good level of fresh acidity. This results in a wine that has a pronounced aged character but maintains freshness and a long dry finish – avoiding any cloying characters.
